The tourist town of Abu Simbel in Egypt



Abu Simbel tourism is one of the cities of Aswan in Egypt. The town of Abu Simbel, 280 km

south of Aswan, about 60 kilometers from the Egyptian-Sudanese border in the south. The

city is located at an altitude of 180 m above sea level on the western shores of Lake Nasser

that lake that formed after the building of the High Dam, which has an area of 500 square

kilometers and 350 square kilometers in the Egyptian Nubia


Because Abu Simbel an important tourist attraction for each tourist delegations, the State

has accorded plus interest, which is now seeing tangible progress and prosperity in all

areas, whether tourist or agricultural or urban
